These group hotels in and around Oxford, England – such as the Ramada by Wyndham Oxford – are all a short drive from the train station.

Jurys Inn Oxford
First up, with 240 rooms and suites across two floors to its name, it’s the Jurys Inn Oxford. The hotel last benefitted from a renovation in 2016. There’s a health club and indoor pool to enjoy, plus the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse.
Business travellers will also be interested to know that the hotel has 20 meeting and event rooms, accommodating up to 350 guests. The hotel is 14 minutes by car from Oxford’s main train station.

Holiday Inn Oxford
Next up, it’s the Holiday Inn Oxford, which has 154 rooms and suites. It is found just off the A34, three miles from Oxford’s town centre. It is meanwhile roughly 12 minutes away from the train station by car.
Oh, and by the way, kids under the age of 17 get to stay for free when sharing their parents’ room, while up to four kids age 12 and under can eat for free throughout the day at any Holiday Inn on-site restaurant. In Holiday Inn Oxford’s case, this is The Junction Restaurant, which serves crowd-pleasing favourites such as the traditional English breakfast.

Ramada by Wyndham Oxford
Third on our list of Oxford group hotels, it’s the Ramada by Wyndham Oxford, which has 116 rooms and suites. Perks include free parking, free wifi, a fitness centre and a cafe.
As the hotel is located on the ‘gateway to Oxford, the M40 at Junction 8A, it takes around 24 minutes to reach Oxford’s town centre. Then, it takes around 29 minutes to reach the train station by car. Nearby attractions include the stunning Blenheim Palace and Silverstone Circuit Racecourse.

Hampton By Hilton
Finally on our list of Oxford group hotels, it’s the Hampton By Hilton, which has 103 rooms and suites and enjoys a prime location right next door to Kassam Stadium, near Oxford’s business and leisure districts.
Features include free parking, a 24-hour fitness centre and free wifi in every room. A hot breakfast will be included in your and your fellow travellers’ stays. Restaurants in the area, meanwhile, include Frankie & Benny’s and Oxy Oriental.
While in Oxford why not visit the Oxford University Museum of Natural History? It is only 16 minutes away from the hotel by car! There’s also the gorgeous historic buildings of University of Oxford – probably the most famous university in the world – to explore. Other unmissable attractions include the Oxford Botanic Gardens & Arboretum and the Harry Potter locations tour!
Then, it is just 15 minutes in the car to the train station. Heathrow Airport, meanwhile, can be reached in an hour to 90 minutes from all the hotels on this list.
