Claridge’s, London
Opened in the English capital in 1812, Claridge’s of course has an illustrious history, hosting the likes of Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn in its two century lifespan. It is known for its glorious Art Deco interiors, which transport guests to another era. This five star, which is Grade II listed, has 197 rooms and 11 suites.

Taj Mahal Palace, India
The opulent Taj Mahal Palace opened in Mumbai, the largest city in India, in 1903, and today has 560 rooms, including 44 suites. Barack and Michelle Obama are just some of the very famous names to have stayed here, not to mention film star Angelina Jolie. The terror attack that tragically took place here in 2008 is the subject of a new film starring Dev Patel called Hotel Mumbai.

Beverly Hills Hotel, Los Angeles
Opened in 1912, the five star Sunset Boulevard-located Beverly Hills Hotel is perhaps the most famous of all of LA’s hotels for groups. It is synonymous with glitz and glam and has hosted some of the world’s most iconic names from the Golden Age of Hollywood, such as Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor. In more recent years, famous guests have included Britney Spears and Jennifer Aniston. Among its 210 rooms are suites are 23 bungalows.

Château Frontenac, Quebec City
In snowy Quebec City, one commanding presence of Victorian architecture looms large: the Château Frontenac, standing 77m tall, was opened in 1893. Of all Quebec City’s hotels for groups, this one is most responsible for giving this beautiful Canadian city its magical, storybook feeling. It is home to a staggering 611 rooms and suites, plus four restaurants, including the high end Le Champlain for the finest French fare. Former UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill, Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio, Beatles icon Paul McCartney and Canada’s first lady of music Celine Dion are among the recognisable names to have spent the night here.
