1. Marriott Auditorium Hotel & Conference Center

   First up on our list of group hotels in the city of Madrid, which is home to 3.2 million people, is the Marriott Auditorium Hotel & Conference Center. It has a bumper 869 rooms and suites. Advantages of this ultra modern stopover, known for its striking curvy exterior, include free wifi, an airport shuttle service, a fitness centre, a pool, an executive lounge and 56 meeting rooms.

   Then of course there are the dining options: Kalma serves Mediterranean and International fare, while Greatroom serves tapas. Or, how about some hearty America food and a beer at Champions Bar & Terrace, or the show cooking to be enjoyed at the international Buffet Madrid.

   Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport (otherwise simply known Madrid-Barajas Airport) is just a seven-minute drive away; the hotel is perfectly-located between it and Madrid city centre.

   Are you a sports fan? The Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, with its seating capacity of 81,044 people, is right next door; it can be reached in a matter of minutes by car. It is meanwhile just 14 minutes by car to Madrid-Barajas Airport.

3. Novotel Madrid Center

   Third, we have the Novotel Madrid Center, which has 790 rooms and suites and is found in the buzzing Salamanca district in the centre of the city! Other features include a 24-hour fitness centre, a car park, meeting rooms with panoramic views, a rooftop pool and terrace, free wifi, bicycle hire and even a video game room.

   For food and drink, head to the GourmetBar, featuring global cuisine and local ingredients. You can also order breakfast, snacks and hot dishes from room service from 8am to 11pm daily.

   One of Madrid’s top attractions, the National Archeological Museum, can be reached in five minutes via car, and Retiro Park is right around the corner. Then, the hotel is a 12-minute drive from the airport.

4. TRYP Madrid Airport Suites LL

   Finally on our list of group hotels, and located on the doorstep of the airport, is the no frills TRYP Madrid Airport Suites LL, which has 549 rooms and suites to choose from across five floors. There is an outdoor pool to enjoy, plus a panel tennis court. Also, there is a golf course nearby, plus free wifi throughout the hotel.
