1. 1. Island Shangri-La Hong Kong

      First up on our list of Hong Kong hotels for groups, it’s the Island Shangri-La Hong Kong. This resplendent showstopper dates back to 1991, and has 565 rooms (including 34 suites) to its name.

      Selling points include the outdoor pool, the indoor whirlpool tub and complimentary yoga classes. Furthermore, there are eight food and drink options: Cantonese restaurant Summer Palace boasts two Michelin stars.

      You can meanwhile shop until you drop without straying very far: the hotel is part of the Pacific Place mall complex, while Hong Kong Park is a short walk away.

      Hong Kong International Airport is just 33 minutes away by car.

   2. 2 Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong

      Next up, with 501 rooms and suites, it’s the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, which dates back to 1963.

      Be sure to check out the iconic Mandarin Spa for luxurious pampering, followed by a new look in the on-site salon or barbers. Then there’s the 24-hour gym and indoor pool. Of the three Michelin-starred restaurants to choose from, our pick is the delicious dim sum at Man Wah.

      Given its Central location, you’re close to some of Hong Kong’s most famous skyscrapers. Chief among them, the Bank of China Tower (367m to the tip), which can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. The airport, meanwhile, is 32 minutes away by car.

   3. 3 Conrad Hong Kong

      Third on our list of Hong Kong hotels for groups, and with 512 rooms and suites, it’s the Conrad Hong Kong. Dating back to 1990, certain rooms from this fantastic business hotel boast stellar views, like all our hotels on this list. It last benefitted from a renovation in 2010 (the executive lounge in 2014.)

      Enjoy the heated outdoor pool complete with cabanas, and the 24-hour gym with steam rooms. Of the six food and drinking options, why not opt for traditional Chinese cuisine at Golden Leaf, or delicious Italian fare at Nicholini’s?

      Once again, the airport is around 32 minutes away by car.

   4. 4 Hotel ICON

      Finally, to Kowloon, and with 262 rooms and suites – many offering stunning views of the harbour – it’s the super cool Hotel ICON. This hotel has the distinction of being owned by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University; thus it has a unique staff training programme.

      Relax in the 28/F Club lounge, dine on explosive international offerings in the buffet at The Market restaurant, or admire the vertical garden in the lobby. The heated rooftop pool is astonishing, there’s a 24-hour gym, a cute spa and Telsa airport-transfer service for guests staying on the Club floor for more than two nights. It is 26 minutes in a car to Hong Kong International Airport.
