Palazzo + The Venetian Las Vegas

All hail the second-largest hotel in the world, which boasts a mind-boggling 7,117 rooms across 53 floors. Offering a taste of Italy in the Nevada desert, it was officially the world’s largest hotel from 2008 until 2015. However, it’s since been pipped to the post by Malaysia’s First World Hotel, which lays claim to 7,351 rooms.

Hotels for groups don’t get any better than this: it’s an all-suite stopover, meaning you’ll never be wanting for space; many rooms are multi-level with full length windows. In fact, the standard rooms are among the largest on the Strip.

MGM Grand Las Vegas + the Signature

Before the Palazzo + The Venetian Las Vegas took the title, this was the largest hotel in the world for 13 years. Another all-suite stopover, it’s as well-known for its emblematic, 45-tall bronze lion statue at the front entrance as for its 6,852 spacious, apartment-style room options.

There are indeed numerous accommodation types to choose from here, from the Signature, a condo hotel which sits adjacent to the MGM Grand and opened in 2006, to the 29 private villas located within The Mansion at MGM Grand.

Opt for the MGM if you can’t get enough of gaming, dining and entertainment (such as Ka, the permanent Cirque du Soleil show); opt for the more laid back Signature if you want reprieve from the hubbub.

You could arguably say five hotels for groups unite in this urban complex or ‘city within a city’, covering 16,797,000 square feet. The only way to explain how it operates is to break it down into five parts, or rather, five towers: ARIA (61 floors,), Vdara (57 floors), Mandarin Oriental (56 floors) and Veer Towers (each 37 floors). The total number of rooms is thus 6,790.

Each tower offers countless features and attractions. The ARIA Resort & Casino alone is home to 16 restaurants, 10 bars and lounges, a two-level, 80,000-square-foot spa, and of course, 150,000 square feet of gaming. All of the 568 suites here range in size from 520 to 2,000 square feet.

Wynn Las Vegas + Encore Las Vegas

You can expect two hotels for groups in one with Wynn’s Vegas offering, and five star luxury across 4,750 rooms and two towers. The iconic curved building that is that is Wynn Las Vegas, with its luxurious copper tinge, was opened in 2005 and has 2,716 rooms and suites. Its sister property Encore followed in December 2008, and has 2,034 all-suite rooms.

Once again, your every whim will be catered for: there are two spas, two full-service salons, a retail esplanade featuring luxury boutiques (think Cartier to Chanel), an 18-hole golf course, a 60,000 square foot beach club, and even wedding chapels! Perhaps the coolest detail, though, is the Tulips sculpture in the Wynn Theater rotunda, from acclaimed US artist Jeff Koons.
