With 226 rooms and suites across 25 floors, it stands 84m tall, making it the seventh tallest building in all of the Canary Islands. Needless to say, a room at this lovely four star will boast beautiful views of the island. Key amenities include an airport shuttle, a fitness centre and an outdoor pool. Book your group stay here or at any of these hotels and you could get your room completely for free*!

  2. Hotel Santa Catalina

Second on our list of huge Las Palmas stopovers perfect for a group hotel discount with GroupHotels.com is the Hotel Santa Catalina. It has 202 rooms and suites, and is housed in a fantastic Spanish building dating back to the 1890s.

Enjoy the on-site spa, hot tub, indoor and outdoor pools and outdoor tennis court. It is but a 20-minute drive to Gran Canaria Airport. Meanwhile, from the aforementioned AC Hotel Gran Canaria, it is only 24 minutes in the car.

  3. NH Hotel Imperial Playa

With 142 rooms and suites, the NH Hotel Imperial Playa’s major selling point is its waterfront location: roll out of bed, and you’re right on the beach. Ask for a room with a wonderful sea view, and perhaps a terrace.

Work up an appetite by arranging bicycle rental via the hotel, before later dining on local and international dishes at the NH Imperial Playa Restaurant. Beware: this four star is closed for the month of July for renovations, reopening in August.

  4. Sercotel Hotel Cristina Las Palmas

Finally, why not seek a group hotel discount at the biggest stopover on our list: the Sercotel Hotel Cristina Las Palmas. This sumptuous five star has 312 rooms and suites to choose from across 13 floors; many, once again, with ocean views and terraces, owing to a prime seafront location close to the port. Las Canteras beach is only a few feet away!

Be sure to take full advantage of the services available, from an outdoor swimming pool to the gym, from massages to yoga classes. There’s also a coffee shop and restaurant.

This glittering East Coast destination is home to numerous big, buzzing group hotels, including the famous Caesars Atlantic City.

There are countless group hotels to cope with visitor demand in Atlantic City: a tiny town that packs a huge tourist punch with its beachside location and countless casinos.

  1. Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa

With 2,000 rooms and suites across 43 floors, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is one of the largest group hotels in Atlantic City. It offers six types of accommodation, all boasting oodles of space: the Classic Room, the Fire Suite, the Studio Suite, the Opus Suite, the Piatto Suite and finally, at 464 sqm, the Residence.

As an all-round entertainment complex, the Borgata is second to none. The massive casino is home to 3,026 slot machines, while the Borgata Event Center has seen the likes of Aerosmith and Pearl Jam perform. There’s also the Premier Nightclub, the Spa Toccare (boasting a salon and barbershop) and no less than six swimming pools!

  2. Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City

The four star Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City has 2,587 rooms and suites spread across 40 floors. There are numerous one and two-bedroom suite options, such as the two-bedroom Penthouse Suite in the Atrium Tower, which has its own Jacuzzi!

There are, naturally, 2,192 slot machines to explore, plus 135 table games and 40 poker tables. But, perhaps one of the complex’s most special and upscale features is the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon and Spa. Elsewhere, there are 4 nightlife options and 13 dining options. Among the latter are Oshi Modern Asian Kitchen and, from the celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsey Steak.

  3. Tropicana Casino & Resort Atlantic City

One of the destination’s more affordable group hotels and only 18 minutes from Atlantic City Airport by car, the three star Tropicana Casino & Resort Atlantic City has 2,074 rooms and suites. The entertainment complex is called The Quarter, boasting an IMAX Theatre, a spa, and numerous dining and shopping options. Patti LaBelle is just one of the star performers booked for 2019.

The Tropicana enjoys a perfect location next to the beach and the famous Boardwalk. Being home to under 40,000 permanent residents, all of Atlantic City’s main attractions – such as the charming Steel Pier, with its throwback carnival rides and games – are within walking distance of the Tropicana Casino & Resort Atlantic City, and all the group hotels in this list.

  4. Caesars Atlantic City

A cousin of one of the world’s largest and most iconic group hotels, Caesars Palace in Vegas (3,976 rooms and suites), Caesars Atlantic City lays claim to a more modest (but still pretty impressive!) 1,156 rooms and suites. There are no less than 27 variations among them!

Again, it’s on the Boardwalk. Gordon Ramsey makes another culinary appearance in the city, with the Gordon Ramsey Pub & Grill, and there are another 10 dining options to choose from. A mini city-within-a-city, there’s also three nightlife options, the Rooftop Pool, the Salon at Caesars and, of course, the sprawling Caesars Casino.

From the Paris Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel to the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile, these trusted hotels for groups are used to hosting large parties

Experience the City of Light with a contemporary twist in one of these large Paris hotels for groups – including the French capital’s only skyscraper hotel

  1. Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile

The charming central Paris skyline is largely unbothered by tall, modern structures, with most clustered in the business district of La Defense. Thus, when it comes to Parisian hotels for groups within modern skyscrapers, the four star Hyatt Regency Etoile, built in 1974, is an anomaly.

Located a five-minute walk from said business district – as well as from the I’Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees – it is, in fact, one of the tallest structures in town, standing at 190m with its spire. (To put that into perspective, the Eiffel Tower is 300m).

The building accommodates 995 rooms across 34 floors, with decor that is smart but stylish following a 2012 renovation. Its best selling point is undoubtedly its unique views of the city, but be sure to check out the on-site health club.

  2. InterContinental Paris – Le Grand

Meanwhile, the landmark five star InterContinental Paris – Le Grand has just five floors – but still manages to boast 470 rooms, including 72 suites, thus taking up a whole block in the heart of Paris! The location, right opposite the Palais Garner opera house, is spectacular.

It’s a truly historic hotel with a storied history; since opening in 1862, it’s hosted everyone from Salvador Dali to Orson Welles to Christian Lacroix.

It’s a destination for throwback glamor and opulence, but it’s also committed to a quietly modern take on luxury: the hotel’s last major renovation was in 2003, and another is currently ongoing. (‘We are committed to ensuring that you are not impacted by the work in progress,’ reads a statement on the website.)

  3. Paris Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel

With 757 rooms, including 51 suites across 18 floors, the Gauche Hotel doubles up as a conference centre, and thus has 55 meeting rooms.

The decor is sleek and unfussy, while the rooms have a contemporary look and feel: think floor-to-ceiling windows and rain showers. Logistically speaking, this one of the most family-friendly hotels for groups, with suites and adjoining rooms available.

R’Yves, the hotel restaurant, serves French bistro dishes, but there’s a wealth of restaurants to try at nearby Butte-aux-Cailles. The entrance to the fascinating Catacombs of Paris is also within walking distance.

  4. Le Méridien Etoile

The Le Méridien Etoile lays claim to a mammoth 1,125 rooms across nine floors, including 22 suites; add to this 16 meetings rooms and a total of 2,092 square metres of meeting space, and what you have is the largest of all of Paris’s hotels for groups, designed in a mid-century modern style.

Built in 1972 and situated in the 17th arrondissement, the location is both leisure traveler-friendly (the nearby Avenues Champs-Elysees is great for shopping) and great for business travelers (it sits across from the Paris Convention Centre).

In addition to the on-site fitness centre, and the Ma Chère & Tendre steakhouse, the hotel has the Le Meridien Jazz Club, often offering live entertainment.

  5. The Westin Paris-Vendome

Last on our list of hotels for groups is the Westin Paris-Vendome; like the Le Méridien Etoile, it a Marriott property, this time laying claim to 428 rooms. Found in the centre of town in the 1st Arrondissement, the world-famous art gallery The Louvre is a 12-minute walk away, while the Musée d’Orsay is just 11.

The authentic French fare at the hotel’s Le First restaurant, with its charming courtyard, comes highly recommended, as does a a treatment at the opulent Six Senses spa.
