Gettysburg National Military Park : The Battle of Gettysburg was a turning point in the Civil War, the Union victory in the summer of 1863 that ended General Robert E. Lee’s second and most ambitious invasion of the North. It also provided President Abraham Lincoln with the setting for his most famous address.

David Wills House : David Wills’ home tells the story of Lincoln and the Gettysburg Address. It was where President Lincoln put the finishing touches on the Gettysburg Address. The speech transformed Gettysburg’s community from a place of devastation to the symbol of our nation’s new birth of freedom.

The Art Association of Harrisburg has invited four faculty members from Pennsylvania College of Art and Design’s (PCA&D) photography department and three woodworkers from Mellow Minded Café to exhibit their work in a collaborative exhibition entitled, (photo)synthesis: from wood to paper, with an opening reception on Saturday, April 8th, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. This diverse show merges the practices of fine art and craft, while synthesizing various mediums, as well as, display and installation practices.
