1. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

   First up on our list of blockbuster Disney hotels for groups is a supersize stopover with 1,293 rooms and suites spread across five floors! Indeed, Africa comes to Florida in massive style at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, known for its striking, art-filled interiors.

   Ever since its opening in 2001, the sight of zebras and giraffes grazing on the property has amazed visitors, whether you observe them from your dinner table or the private balcony of your room.

   Of course, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is next door (and can be reached in four minutes by car), but everything within Walt Disney World is easily accessible.

   Orlando International Airport, meanwhile, is just 27 minutes away by car, and furthermore, roughly the same applies to the other two hotels for groups on our list.

2. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

   Finally on our list of truly spectacular hotels that are a stone’s throw from all the Disney action, we have the Four Seasons Orlando. This beautiful five star has 443 rooms and suites across 17 floors to its name.

   Cool features include an on-site golf course, the seven drinking and dining options, tennis courts, and faultless poolside service. Be sure to check out the two infinity pools! Book a room on the fifth floor and above for a view of Disney’s nightly firework display.

   There is also a luxury coach service to the theme parks, where you can explore a multitude of iconic rides and attractions – from old classics like Space Mountain and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train to newer offerings like Avatar Flight of Passage.

   Outside of Disney, there are numerous things to see and do in the area, from Lake Buena Vista and Bay Lake to Orlando. How about a go round the ICON Orlando, which stands tall at 400 feet, or a day at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, home to the famed Space Shuttle Atlantis Exhibit?
